We've never stayed in a Hotel like this before. If you've driven down Hwy 101 in Oregon, you've probably passed it without a thought. Don't. Stop. Stay. We will definitely come back. It was fabulous. This hotel is great. We had 1 of 2 rooms that do not have a connected bathroom and I still loved this place. You get so much for such a great price. The continental breakfast is out of this world, Fresh fruit, Gourmet coffee, Bagels and cream cheese, Great cereal. I just can't say enough good things about this place.... more

Nice folks, beautiful setting. Clean and nicely decorated. This is a GREAT place to stay. Pretty good restaurant across the street and good shopping for antiques next door to the hotel. I've stayed at the Old Wheeler four times now and it just gets better. more

The room (5) was lovely, clean, bright and with a great view of the bay. The antique touches were great, and the individual jaccuzi tub was a treat after a day of hiking along the beach. I spent a great deal of time looking at websites for places to stay on the northern Oregon coast, and finally decided upon the Old Wheeler Hotel. I picked it for several reasons: the price was good, the pictures looked inviting, and the owners also run the place. My husband and I went for a two-night getaway. What a find!... more

As a native of Tillamook County it's great to see the hotel come back to life. The owners have done an outstanding job of refurbishing . I hope they take the time to write a history from the day the bought the hotel to the day they opened for business. We loved the place. more
