Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

American staples made fresh homemade cooking the way you dream about it. Well priced and served in a historic inn. Break Up your trip through the path with some good food. We plan to stay overnight here soon. They are open most days check the website.

What was offered was not what was delivered. No one was present (okay, can live with that) but if there was a problem (and there was), then there should be someone you can call (and there was not). Inside the room were statements such as "use the coffee maker" (none), the "refrigerator" (none) and "Find items in the breakfast nook upstairs." Since we were the sole guests (when we arrived) and had the run of the place, we searched everywhere. None of the items offered in the room could be found. The parlor had a gas fireplace on. On, but so low that standing immediately next to it offered no heat. The place is said to offer "History with Luxury." Okay, it is historic. Luxurious it is not. Primitive accommodations is about the best I could say about it.

Hello Kurt, I am sorry that you did not find the Breakfast nook in our upstairs ballroom that has all the amenities that yousay are not there. We texted you self check in information and you could have called the phone or Text us back as we have the phone on 24 seven. The fireplace is for ambience as the house has heat throughout. Jan & February is the off season.

This is a gem close to the highway.. the pine trees surrounding the property smell SO GOOD! deer visit the land day and night, foraging under the fruit trees.. this historic hotel is very well-cared for and was festively dressed inside and out for Halloween! I can't wait to see what they do at Christmas time :)

This is always a great place to stay, a gem that seems as hidden and secret as when we first started coming here almost 20yrs ago. The setup is great, the Inn is well maintained, and the service is stellar. I'll be back 2 more times in the coming month during my travels in Oregon!

It's charming, historic and has all the modern conveniences as well. Our room had a king-sized bed, a must for us when traveling. We were surprised by the quality of the food, seriously tasty. The staff is as welcoming as possible and sees to your needs quickly. My husband was particularly pleased with the coffee upstairs as he is a very early riser and could sit, enjoy and read his newspapers away from me, the sleeping wife! It snowed while we were there and it certainly added a magical touch to our little hike about the property which, may I add, is quite large! The Innkeepers Jeremy and Nancy are personable and dedicated to the Wolf Creek Inn experience. All the little details make a big difference. Fresh tulips were everywhere, period-appropriate furniture and rugs plus historic photos abound. I would recommend staying here for 2 nights. It is an experience not had at a chain motel/hotel situation. Oh! and don't miss the gift shop!

We rented the place out for the weekend to get hitched. I could not have been more pleased. The experience was as close to perfect as anything can be. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous, and the outdoor patio was beautifully planted. One of the big pluses for the grounds is the size of the park. It was big enough for all the kids to run and play but not so big that we were losing our children. The parents were able to take turns watching the kids, allowing them to spend more time enjoying the reception. The staff is happy and helpful, with good follow through. The food is all from scratch and you can taste the love. We ate all our meals there for two days and each meal was delicious, and we did not get tired of eating there. The rooms are nice and clean, the cleaners they use smell good not like straight bleach. Our bed was extremely comfortable, and our friends and family who also stayed at the Inn agreed that their beds were also comfortable. It was just a wonderful experience, and I will be recommending this venue to everyone I encounter who is getting married.

Charming, comfortable, historic inn in Southern Oregon worth a stop or stay. We stayed mid week when the restaurant was closed. You check yourself in with inn keeper available by text. The room and common spaces are beautifully appointed and comfortably rustic. Granola bars, oatmeal packets, coffee and standard tea is available. There’s a small fridge and dining room upstairs. Pro tip: bring your own food and bevs as you won’t find anything nearby. The town itself has seen better days. We discovered the meth camp on a dog walk and agree it lends a creepy vibe to the area.

When we arrived there was a guy across the street at the roadside store that was checking us out. It turned out he was a resident of a small homeless encampment nearby. I’ll get back to that later. Our room was small, but nice. There was no TV. Comfortable bed, an adequate bathroom with a good shower. The building is nice, particularly the history of it. We went on a hike up to London Peak, which was short, cold and pretty. The night we stayed the restairant wasn’t open, so we had to backtrack to Grant’s Pass for dinner. Later on there was a yelling contest over at the encampment, which is my way of saying there was a loud argument. We thought we heard gunshots, but there were no sirens and we didn’t call it in, so maybe we were mistaken. All I know is if we were heading in that direction again, we’d chose to stay elsewhere, not because there isn’t a TV or any other problem with the inn, we were just kind of creeped out from the encampment.

My second visit this summer: lovely grounds and cozy room, particularly festive with elaborate Halloween decorations both on their outdoor dining patio and in my room, awesome and tasteful, good fun. Food is excellent, served Thursday through Sunday so I made a point to visit then. My new go to overnight stop on the Interstate 5, just a mile or two away but way back to a quieter time. Thank you Leeann and staff!
