The Harlan Log House is a lovely bed and breakfast. It's a very small property and the grounds are immaculate down to the koi pond. Beverly was positively gracious and has taken very good care of the property. The rooms are quaint and clean. The bed is extremely comfortable. No noise can be heard from the outside and it truly feels like you're in the middle of the countryside. It is truly ideal for a get away.

I highly recommend this B&B especially if you are tired of cookie-cutter hotels. It's very close to the Brandywine River Museum, the Brandywine Battlefield, Nemours Mansion, Longwood Gardens and Winterthur. And there are plenty of places to eat nearby. more
