I would have no hesitation staying here again. I booked here because of the proximity to Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob - it is about 20 minutes to either, and great if you booked a morning "in-depth" tour. Stayed hear solo 2 nights while touring Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Rooms are very basic--just a handful of cable channels and no coffeemaker, which made the mornings a little tough for this caffeine addict. Stayed here while visiting Falling Water (20 min), Kentuck Knob (10 min). It is a cabin style motel but very clean and relaxing. Rooms have a walk out patio where you can look at the small lake. Staff are all friendly. Would stay again. more

The Lodge at Chalk Hill is set in the middle of rolling countryside and is set by a large lake. Rooms are joined chalet based and basic. Two double beds, tv, fridge, a/c Small bathroom. Over all not a bad place to stay for a night, however the rooms could stand some remodeling work and improvements, the bathrooms in a regular room are very small also the rooms could stand some updates more
