The new room furnishings, carpet and interior work looks awesome, very stylish and contemporary. Thank heavens for the new colors on the hotel exterior! The gray was as drab as the old furnishings. Color selection and paint job is top notch, truly refreshing blends well with the beautiful gardens. more

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2009 as part of a much larger group that was staying at the Inn for a wedding in the area. We were extremely impressed with the Inn. We stayed in the Presidential Quarters, which was newly renovated. The rooms were huge, with comfortable beds, a large flat-screen TV, and clean bathrooms with... more

We booked a room on Priceline for Scranton and we were disappointed that we ended up in Park Summit rather than actual Scranton, but none the less we very very pleased with the hotel, the staff and the renovations they are doing. The hotel has a nice indoor pool which would be nice for a family. They give you a... more

Stayed at the Inn at Nichol's Village June 17th for one night while traveling to Atlantic City. Nice Hotel for $87.00 including taxes. Room was large and clean with nice bathroom. Nice breakfast in morning included. Husband enjoyed the waffles. Convenient location just off RT 81 and PA Turnpike. Convenient to area restaurants, grocery store, drug stores. Pleasant front desk... more

We travel alot and are always looking for a reasonably price hotel that has an indoor pool, visibly clean rooms ( but what you can't see may kill you), friendly service and free breakfast. This hotel was above average for hotels that I have stayed in for more. Breakfast was not just donuts and juice, but Huge waffles, biscuits, bacon... more

The negative reviews for this hotel are spot-on. Room furnishings were cheap and outdated. The upholstered chairs in my room were filthy and had holes in the fabric. TV was tiny and must have been 10+ years old. The electrical outlet under the work desk was missing its cover, leaving the wires exposed. Walls were stained and dirty, as were... more

Dear Biz_Traveler_Phx, I am sorry to hear about your recent stay with us. I just wanted to let you know that the new ownership has started a complete renovation of all guest rooms of this hotel. I know this won't make up for your past stay but wanted to let you know that a change is coming. The new renovations...

Priceline says 3 stars, but 2 is more appropriate. Has a Motel 6 feel to it. Its an older property that looks like is was upgraded in the late 80's with commercial grade carpet and wallpaper. Carpets in the hallways were on the dirty side and much of the the wallpaper was peeling. Rooms were modestly decorated with cheep looking... more

I stayed here a few days ago while driving from Canada to NYC. I booked it for $55/nt through Priceline, and admittedly was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews here. I wasn't expecting anything great, but upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. Check- in was fast and pleasant although the clerk inadvertently booked me into an occupied... more

The hotel is located down hill, where a train track runs half-way up hill. At night, you will occasionally disturbed by very noisy freight train running by. The so-called "deluxe continental breakfast" does not provide yogurt. We were charged $15+ for a one-night use of an infant crib. My previous stay at the same place did not have this charge.... more
