We booked this hotel based on our past (pleasant) experiences with the travelodge chain, and the fact that we got a good rate (under $50). There were no tripadvisor reviews so I thought I would take a chance and boy, was I a guinea pig on this one. I hope this review saves someone else.

When we arrived at 8 pm after 7 hours of driving my husband just needed to sleep. This was a typical run-down, CHEAP MOTEL with the travelodge sign out front. Everything about it was unappealing from the dissheveled office full of the owners' family watching WWE, stale odor in the room, bathroom door that wouldn't shut, broken tv, mismatched furniture, dirty towels, 'rusty' squeek to the bed springs, wet-looking carpet, thin bedspread and lumpy mismatched pillows. I begged my husband to leave and even sleep at a rest area instead. You can view the photos I've posted. They look nothing like the ones on the Travelodge website.
