Thank you again Tom & Sandy for hosting us. Such a great place to really get away and enjoy the trains like you cannot anywhere else! From your bedroom, the front porch and all the special spots nearby. Horseshoe Curve is always a must. Breakfast is YUM! If you are a railfan...do not miss this trip.

Three of us stayed here last weekend. What a wonderful experience at The Station Inn. Great people, awesome accommodations, and good food. The room was well kept, clean, fresh paint, stocked with numerous towels, soaps, coffee and bedding. I was pleasantly surprised with the up keep of the Inn for being over a century old! The staff at the Inn... More

We'd read about Station Inn years ago and finally made the trip - and we will go back. We probably don't qualify as "railfanners" - don't have our own scanner, don't want to drive from tunnel to tunnel to catch the next great photo, don't own an engineer cap - but we like trains and like watching them, and this... Do you like trains? Do you like sitting on your front porch to watch trains? Wait, you don't have a front porch overlooking a busy, three-track mountain mainline? Luckily for you, The Station Inn has all that, and more. Cozy, no-frills rooms, great breakfast, lovely staff, and a view of the tracks that you're not going to find anywhere else.... More

The Station Inn has been drawing rail enthusiasts like a moth to a flame ever since it opened as a bed and breakfast in 1993. What makes the inn a magnet for what has became an international fraternity of train buffs is the fact that it sits 150 feet off Conrail’s triple track, Pittsburgh line, which can see as many... My husband and I with friends stayed for the weekend at This Bed and Breakfast. The Inn is full of pictures and items from by gone train eras which delighted my husband as well as the other train enthusiast that were staying there. The front porch is huge, covered and well equipped with a variety of seating, from padded rocking... More

A comfortable, clean and friendly establishment which caters for railfans. The main line is across the road from the porch of the Inn and we had a view of the line from our room. My wife who is not a railfan really enjoyed the experience meeting with the wives of other railfans who were staying. The breakfast is wholesome and... More

Stayed here last week for one night. Had an enjoyable stay. Very casual. Tom (owner) very welcoming and knowledgeable. Gave us each a souvenir key chain and also gave us a fridge magnet. Were assigned to different room than our reservation guarantee, but that was probably because we stayed 1 night and the others were in for a few nights.... More
