We stayed here one time over the summer on a trip to knoebels. I don't know if I would stay for 3 or 4 days unless you have other stuff planned all day but we had no problems with the room. We originally wanted non smoking but they didn't have any available but the smoking room didn't have any smoke... more

When I stay at a Red Roof I can always depend on getting a clean and comfortable room with a nice TV. Sometimes a traveler needs no more than this. This Red Roof was no different. This motel has not yet received the 'Redesigned & Rededicated' treatment that all Red Roofs will eventually get, but it was fine. A spotless... more

Great for the money. We were four families traveling to visit a relative and Knobels. The rooms were spartan ( like dorm rooms) but clean, quiet and in good repair. The front desk was friendly and helpful recommending a restaurant ( B.J.'s) and providing a hairdryer. I would recommend it . more

Stayed in mid June at the Danville, Pa. Red Roof and cannot recommend the motel. My family complained of a moldy smell upon entering the room. We were in a hurry and did not have time to seek other lodging, so we picked up Lysol while we were out. We heavily sprayed the room upon our return, which made it... more

It was convenient and economical, but not that clean. In the morning i had some red welts on my arm which made me worried. Now that we are back home I noticed more welts and found a few small bedbugs in my sheets (not yet having taken up residence in my mattress!) The exterminator thinks they came in on my... more

Okay....the snobs among us are thinking, the Red Roof Inn??? Yes, the Red Roof Inn. Its a great little hotel/motel...especially if your plans include going to Knoebels Amusement Park. The hotel itself is always immaculately clean. We have stayed there numerous times and have never been disappointed. For almost half the price of other hotels in the area, you get... more

This is a hotel I stay at frequently, perhaps 2 to 3 trips per year. The reason for our stay is always to visit Knoebels Grove amusement park in nearby Elysburg. Of all the budget hotels I've stayed at in the area, this one is the most consistent. While this Red Roof has not gotten the "redesigned/rededicated" renovation yet, I... more

Most important - CLEAN AND NO BUGS!!! If you're just looking for an inexpensive place to sleep and shower for an overnight stopover, this is the place! Very clean and no bugs was all we needed. The room is on the small side, so if you're claustrophobic or need some frills, don't stay here. If you're the average family looking... more
