Well we took the kids for an overnight stay so they could enjoy splash lagoon for a couple of days. When we checked into our room everything was fine that night the boys wanted to use the hot tub so i filled it with water for them and then turned the jets on and a whole bunch of black flecks... more

We just got back from what was supposed to be a two night stay. However, we were so dissapointed that we checked out early and went home. We were visiting Splash Lagoon on our trip for a Friday/Saturday night stay. We had a one room suite which I thought was very small. The bedroom portion hardly had any room to... more

Our second stay at this hotel. The first time two years ago we were impressed but this last stay was lacking. The first night we stayed in an one bedroom suite which was nice on first impression then the fireplace didn't work, dirty dishes in the cabinets and the remote didn't work. We were moved up a floor same type... more

Hotel Stay: August 17th - 21st Ages: 23 - 60 We stayed at Residence Inn last year and had a great time and decided to book it again. We got the same hotel room we booked last year which was great (2 bedrooms - one with a queen size bed and the other with two double beds). We took full... more

After reading several of the reviews, I was a bit skeptical, but booked anyway, and I'm glad I did. My wife a 3 children stayed at this hotel the week of 7/6/08-7/12/08, and we had a very pleasant stay. Several of the reviews suggested that the rooms were "run down" or "could use some updating" we did not find this... more

In late April, we stayed at the Residence Inn for two nights as part of a package with tickets at the connected Splash Lagoon Water Park. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children (ages 6, 3 and 1). We had a two bedroom suite with two double beds in one room, and another double in the 2nd... more

This Residence Inn is so easy to find, directly off the interstate. It is a very nice hotel, clean and for us quiet. We had a third floor room, away from the people traffic going to the water park. I don't think we heard a sound all night. Marriott readily welcomes miltiary families so it is a nice break to... more

We stayed 12/29-30/07, as part of a package deal w/Splash Lagoon, including myself, wife and two young sons, ages 6/8. We paid about $254 for the package, and on the receipt, it clearly showed the waterpark portion to be $155 and the room to be $94. The rest was taxes. We had a one bedroom unit (#224) that had a... more

The suites were very roomy. We had a suite with two double beds in a separate room from the sitting room and kitchen area. We had never stayed at a hotel with a kitchen in our room so that was convenient. We had made dinner that night and also brought other groceries. I feel it was a bit overpriced though... more

We visit Erie annually at Thanksgiving, but are unable to stay with family. Regrettably, I booked a bit too late this year, and was unable to get a room at the Courtyard (our favorite). Since the Residence Inn is a Marriott property, I thought we'd give this a try. My mistake. I didn't realize that this hotel was directly connected... more
