Stayed here for two nights in room 1. Immaculately clean, spacious room. Christine was extremly welcoming when we arrived just as a massive storm broke outside. The room was comfy and really well appointed and breakfast was fab. Delicious cakes, hot drinks and cakes. My daughter and I have stayed at George Carroll House three years in a row. The rooms are unbelievably clean. The beds are terrifically comfortable. The George Carroll House was IMMACULATE! It's got a central location in Erie, close to the downtown area, just a couple of miles from Presque Isle, not far from the waterfront. We liked that the room was beautifully painted and not cluttered with knick-nacks in the name of some "theme" like so many B&B's... Very spacious room for a great price. This was my third time staying at the George Carroll House for a girlfriends shopping trip. The rooms are consistently immaculate and the owner is just wonderful! She is very low key but always available if you need her for anything or if you have questions about the town etc. The bathrooms are sparkling clean and the rooms are spacious... more

My husband and I wanted a little getaway , we stay in Erie once a year and have stayed many other places. The George Carroll House is incredible,it is clean and we parked our car and was able to walk to lunch,dinner the bayfront the Seawolves field.We are already returning in September, what a great value!!!!!!! more
