This is one place you should definately stay away from. The outside property is not maintained and weeds growing everywhere. There were rat traps located in main view. The allure of this place is that it touts being close to Hershey Park and the price is right being cheaper than the other surrounding hotels. What it really amounts to is a serious dump that has unfriendly staff, a serious mold problem and damp carpets because they cant regulate the indoor temperatures correctly. Just returned from a 3 day weekend in Pennsylvania. Went to visit the Hershey Spa however all hotels in hershey were booked so we stayed nearby in Harrisburg at the Howard Johnson. Rooms are ok, BUT front desk agent was completely clueless, took him 20 minutes to check us in and then billed my credit card twice. Now I'm trying to correct their billing error and they are less than helpful with correcting their error. Worst experience ever! Do NOT stay here, and DONT give them your credit card! more
