This is not your normal Days Inn, when you call Days Inn's 800 toll free #, they tell you that this location does not exist ! This is a Day Stop motel run by a truck stop company (I believe it was Days Inn's failed attempt at budget accomodations to compete with motel 6) Check in is inside the convenience store. The location is great for the Hershey/Harrisburg area, right off I-84. Plenty of food choices at this exit, all within a short walk from the motel, some 24 hrs, since it is a truck stop. The room, towels & linens were circa 1970. Very, very basic room but slight musty/mildew & smoke smell. The bed was also circa 1970, not too comfortable, very hard. I would rate the cleanliness as fair, needs improvement! If you are traveling & looking to save money this place maybe (and I say maybe) acceptable for one night depending on your personal requirements, but I would not recomend it for families or kids, as it still is a Truck stop regardless of the name on the... more
