When I stayed in January of 2008, the hotel had mouse and insect infestation problems. I had to change rooms due to mouse droppings in the room. The shower was coated in soap scum, the comforter was dirty and furniture in room was so dirty I took a wet white washcloth to it and it turned brown. The desk staff was very nice about getting me a new room, but the story was just about the same in every room. The carpets are visibly dirty. Mouse/Rat baits are laid outside of the building as well. The hotel is in a bad neighborhood; it faces Capitol Complex, but directly behind the building is the projects, separated only by a short fence. There is no room service, restaurant closes at 6 P.M. and offers pizza, subs and soups. No internet access in rooms, must go downstairs & ask to have a room unlocked and it is unavailable from 10 P.M. to 7 A.M. For non-smokers, you can smell smoke drifting in rooms from floor above.
