My husband and I were looking for a quick getaway over the Memorial Day weekend, and boy did we find a great one. We were both feeling beaten up and worn out from a difficult winter and desparately needed to decompress and relax. So, on the recommendation of a friend, we decided to splurge on the Lodge at Woodloch. Best... more

My husband and I needed a close getaway that would take us far away from our everyday lives. This far exceeded our expectations that were very high. We had read reviews of the spa and know others that raved about it but you need to experience it first hand. From the moment you arrive your worldly cares melt away and... more

While the Lodge at Woodloch is expensive, it provides a luxe getaway for those who want to relax and sample various activities. As many of the reviewers have noted, the rooms are small (but well appointed) and the cuisine focuses on healthy selections. This may be positive or negative, depending on your perspective. Given the number of interesting activies available,... more

I took my mother to this spa for 3 days in March. We had a great time, I would absolutely return. This spa/resort is a 58 room spa with classes, yoga, hiking, spa serviced and a nice spa facility. All meals are included and the food is wonderful. In fact it is arguably what makes this spa so great. I... more

It had everything I could want and was modern. Much better than the Golden Door, Canyon Ranch and other's in the US. The Spa was wonderful the services extensive and were personalized (it was so clean). They had many classes and related out door activities. The food was very good and they had live music almost every night, one performer... more

My wife and i spend a weekend there, and the transformation took place almost immediately. The space was tranquil inside and out, the people were uber-attentive but warm, the hosts were delightful. The Lodge also has expert lecturers that help you learn while you unwind! more

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, The Lodge at Woodloch surpassed our every expectation! The place is aesthetically beautiful, immaculate, warm and inviting! The facilities are top notch as is the service. This was the first time I left a spa (and I’ve visited many) feeling truly rejuvenated and inspired. John and Ginny, the proprietors... more

My sister and I were trying find a Spa to meet at and spend the weekend together, both coming from different directions. We found the Woodloch Lodge on the Internet. The description and pictures on the internet gave a wonderful taste of how special this place is. From excellent and personable service, to beautiful outside surroundings matched well by the... more

This was our 2nd visit & it’s still perfect for a getaway from NYC. The food is fantastic – healthy yet tasty, the spa facilities are enormous, beautiful & clean. Even if the lodge is at full capacity, it never feels crowded given the layout. The classes & treatments are top notch. Woodloch is perfect for either some R&R, or... more

The Lodge at Woodloch promises an enriching experience and they really deliver the goods. My Sister and I go somewhere every year for Sisterly bonding and this year we chose this unknown (to us) spa destination. We made our decision based on the web site. The web site is good, but the place is even better than it looks. The... more
