We arrived in Hawley to find our Settlers Inn stay would be no quiet getaway. Ugh. Our room ("Overlooking Bingham Park") also overlooked a noisy, packed parking lot and what must be one of the busiest corners (Routes 6 & 590) in the region. We just had a family weekend at The Settlers Inn and had a wonderful experience. There were eight of us and we had a selection of rooms that were all very different. The lobby was decorated for Halloween with the most beautifully carved pumpkins I had ever seen and everyone talked about them. The lobby was a great gathering place... more

The Settlers Inn is an arts and crafts jewel, similar to the Roycroft outside Buffalo. Our third floor room was ample, nicely furnished, and spotless.
