We had a very good experience at this hotel. One of the best values in San Juan for a mid range hotel! Other places we visited were much more expensive and did not offer anything more. We checked several hotels in San Juan del Sur and the Royal Chateau was big far the best. Big and clean room, airy and light which is quite hard to find in San Juasn del Sur for this price. We spent 3 nights at the Royal Chateau. We had a room on the 1st floor which was bright and airy (compared to other hotels we've stayed in in the country) and had two double beds. I was working in Managua and decided to go down to San Juan Del Sur when I was finished. The Hotel Real Intercontinental MetroCentro concierge found the Royal Chateau for me. Less than $50 per night for a comfortable room with AC, two beds, shower with luke warm water. Breakfast is included, but there is no menu. eggs, toast, juice... more
