I stayed with the Castros while studying at San Juan del Sur Spanish School. They are a lovely, friendly family with a nice home. I stayed in the house in a room attached to the kitchen and had a great experience. This is very much a home-stay experience, not a hotel stay. The location of the house is great: just a few blocks to the beach and the market. San Juan del Sur is a relaxed, very safe little town. I just loved it and am going back this winter. more
