We stayed in the basment apartment, when I say basement it's not underground or anything in fact it's light and airy to the front where the living rooms are. The Bedroom is more what you'd expect from a basement room although there is a small window. The whole apartment is beautiful and so comfortable with 2 leather sofas. The photos... more

We have just come back from a weekend stay at Holme House, and stayed in the apartment, so unfortunately did not experience the now legendary breakfasts! We went down the self-catering route, and the accommodation that was provided was fantastic! Clean, spacious and well appointed - the photos on the website don't do it justice! All in all, a perfect... more

A lovely, spacious, grand house right in the heart of Hebden Bridge. The room was comfortable, clean, classy but homely. It was at the back of the house but with a view of the main street from one window and the park from the other. The owner was a very hospitable lady, very friendly and helpful. Her breakfast was the... more

A rare jewel off the beaten track. Fabulous location in the middle of a lively coulourful village, surounded by things to do. The rooms were imaculatly clean, airy with everything you could need. As mentioned by others the breakfasts were fantastic using all fresh local produce - you could have as much as you like and have it made how... more

We agree with all the other reviews and stress what an outstanding B&B this is. Stayed two nights in the Park Room which was large, beautifully furnished with a lovely bathroom and high quality fittings. Sarah was a perfect hostess and an excellent cook, providing breakfasts that proved to be the best of a three week holiday. This delightful period... more

We agree with all of the reviews that we have read so far about this establishment. The place is very well located for visiting Hebden Bridge - in fact it's situated right in the heart of the place - and the owner Sarah is very helpful and informative regarding the local services etc. The house itself is absolutely beautiful -... more

Proprietress Sara Eggelston has made this property the most special B&B experience. The rooms on the main level have the most comfortable beds, great ammenities, and generous bathrooms. The common rooms are furnished in comfortable yet luxurious decor. The breakfasts are enormous, with selections ranging for porridge to smoked haddock with poached eggs. There are two apartments on the lower... more

Always wanted to visit Hebden Bridge and sister booked us into Holme House because of fab reviews on Trip Advisor. What a treat! This place is a beautiful welcoming place to stay! Fresh white linen & fluffy white towels. Immaculately clean, beautiful breakfast, lovely hosts. We didn't want to come home. Have recommended it to my work colleagues but don't... more

We were booked in somewhere else which let us down. The staff in the Hebden Bridge Hebden Visitor Centre in were extremely helpful and extraordinarily tactful in the way they suggested that finding a double-bedded ensuite room in Hebden at 3 pm on any Saturday would be tricky, but that one was worse than most. We actually thanked them for... more
