We needed a cheap place to rest out heads and thats what we got. Room was ok, clean sheets and towels. its looking worn and when you really look its a bit grimey. Bathroom definately needs a deep clean, no lock on the door (bathroom door), a bit mouldy and worn. There was a stain on the carpet but it... more
We were allocated a room in the annexe - fairly new. It was clearly designed to minimise comfort and maximise profit ie thoroughly disagreeable. These are double rooms but there is only one chair; the bed and pillows are very uncomfortable; the heating very slow acting;the toilet pedestal is situated so that your shoulders brush the handbasin on one side... more
I found this hotel to be basic but clean - a decent place to spend the night, although we had the same problems with hideously soft beds that another recent visitor mentions. Not advisable if you have back problems. However, whatever you do, DON'T eat at the Little Chef next door. We expected the food to be mediocre - it... more
We booked two nights at this Travelodge through their website. Have been to Travelodge before and they all look pretty much the same, they offer you the basic. And it was all we needed. We booked a double room and were given a family room, very good, spacious. Everything in good working order, TV, shower, etc. I was disappointed not... more
I was looking forward to going down to Stonehenge, and thought we'd book into a travel lodge. I've always fully enjoyed my stays at Travel lodges This lodge was somewhat a little different. It's located right Nr the roundabout, and with great easy access to Stonehenge it's self. The room lovely and clean. Towels Fresh. All the little extras you... more
Stayed here whilst on business and will not be returning. Room was small, dark and dingy. I could hear all of the traffic going past my window due to poor double glazing. My bed sheets were either stained or dirty not sure which, the bed itself was uncomfortable and the shower was awful. There are no breakfast facilities at the... more
Not a great place to stay. Its a bit of a weird place to be honest but difficult to actually say why! In a nutshell the bed was uncomfortable and perhaps my biggest gripe was the awful cleanliness. Unpleasant stains on the sofa and the bathroom was desperate for a deep clean. I felt uncomfortable using it as it just... more
I stayed here on business as all the Salisbury hotels recommended to me were full, and at least with a chain like Travelodge you know what you're getting. It was generally OK, but there were a few things: first of all, although I'd made a phone booking for myself and a colleague, they had his room but had lost my... more
Having stayed in travelodges before wasn't expecting the ritz - its basic and thats fair enough. However what wasn't acceptable was the poor state of repair of the room. Our 5 year old son locked the bathroom door behind him and couldnt unlock it again. We contacted the reception staff who took 20 minutes to appear by which stage he... more
