Having stayed at this establishment before I was reluctant to stay again but was forced too by a late booking and lack of availability elsewhere but what ashock I recieved to see new ownership with people who actually know what customers want. They have also some great ideas in mind and I can wait to return to see the improvements. more
we needed somewhere to stay near to bath for a couple of nights and found this place ideal for our needs. the welcome was friendly, with offers of help with baggage and instructions on times of meals etc. The room was comfortable and clean, plenty of room, but like most places of this age , in need of some refurbishment.... more
Prior to staying in this place I used to read hotel reviews with a pinch of salt, however the negative reviews contained on this site are 100% justified. I can say with total confidence this place is the worst hotel I have had the misfortune of staying in, and my travels with work require me to sample many. Dirty bedrooms... more
Wow, what can I say, this hotel was dirty, poorly maintained, and tired. The decor is dated rather than historic and the staff are poorly trained. The food left a great deal to be desired also, greasy and overcooked. Definately a place to avoid. more
I stayed for 8 days over 2 weeks in this hotel, it's shabby rooms with dated bathroom facilities and very dated TV's are just a few of the dislikes.
