Regularly staying away on business in the South-West, I have used many B&Bs -and this is clearly one of the very best. Victoria and Sean make me truly welcome and nothing is too much trouble: breakfasts with yummy home-made rhubarb and ginger jam, local eggs and a pot of tea are a tremendous start to the day. Comfortable rooms, off-street... More

We are two students on exhange in the UK. We really enjoyed our stay at Kings Stile Cottage. Sean and Victoria made us feel extremely welcome, provided useful information for the surrounding tourist area and fed us delicious breakfasts. The accommodation was immaculate, comfortable and quiet and in a convenient location. We would not hesitate to return if we find... More

Having read all the other reviews about King's Stile Cottage B & B, we realise that Sean and Victoria make all their guests feel special, not just us. They are such a charming and friendly couple who go to great lengths to make you feel comfortable and "at home". We arrived quite late and weary and as soon as we... More

With a big comfortable bed and a magnificent full breakfast, Victoria and Sean Hughes have certainly got the basics right at King's Stile Cottage. But what made our stay there so enjoyable were the extra lengths they went to in order to make us comfortable; the warm welcome we received from the minute we arrived, the delicious homemade jams and... Run by a warm and friendly couple who go above and beyond to make your stay really special. Yummy tea, cake, fruit salad and fried breakfast helped fill us up, and they were so happy to help us with all their local knowledge. The B&B was on the bus route into Bath (20 minutes), there was also a welcoming local... More

Both Sean and Victoria couldn't have been any more attentive to our every need. Lovely location, a wonderful welcome (Pot of Tea with China cups & homemade flapjacks)... More

The previous reviews are heartily agreed with. This is a beautiful B&B. Nothing was too much trouble to Victoria and Sean who are both gorgeous people. They were the perfect hosts. We stayed at this marvellous place in August and it was an ideal position to use as a base for Bath and the surrounding areas:- a days trip to... More

A warm welcome awaits at Kings Stile Cottage, Atworth near Bath. We stayed here in order to attend the Jane Austin Festival in Bath in September. Atworth is about 8 miles East of Bath and is on a main bus route into the City or £15 by taxi. Almost as soon as we had parked our car at the rear... More
