My partner treated me for my 23rd birthday to a night at this beautiful boutique hotel. He chose the room we stayed in which was on the top floor with a lovely view of the gardens, interior was absolutely fabulous. The whole stay was just pure luxury all the small touches to our room made everything perfect, certainly felt spoilt!... More

Our second visit to Kateshill, standards are still very high. Stayed in the newly refurbished 'Henry' room, a lovely, spacious room with views over the pretty garden. Hosts very welcoming, offering refreshments. Do go to the local pub, the Packhorse, for excellent pub grub. Very good night's sleep in very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, the fruit salad very fresh.... More

Want to try something a little different? Try this! Kateshill is a B&B which is well out of the ordinary in most respects. Firstly you really get looked after from the moment you arrive at this beautiful house with superb gardens. Everythings in with the price including sherry in your room and we were greeted with tea and cream scones... More

Our 2nd visit to Kateshill. We tried a new room, Seymour, which was beautiful. The bathroom was huge. All the small details were there for us...chocolates, good choice of beverages, biscuits, sherry, toiletries, fluffy towels. We had a super welcome drink & cake too. We were very confused to see the review below commenting that the owners were lazy. This... More

We unfortunately could only stay one night in this super house. The room was excellent, with lots of additional touches--bathrobes & slippers/ dental kit/ shaving kit etc--available; often these are not in a B&B. Judith & Graham have worked very hard to refurbish this building from a nursing home to a luxury place to stay. The quality of the furnishings... More

This place is outstanding. The building is grand and very impressive. The owners have done a fantastic job in turning this into a top notch place to stay. We stayed in a standard room and the accommodation was very good, we sneaked a look into the feature rooms and these are magnificent.

Our second visit confirmed that this is a very special place to stay in every way. This is a gorgeous Georgian house that has been carefully restored. Each room is individually designed with exquisite taste and great attention to detail Fresh fruit at breakfast was followed by a wide choice of cooked options. We would never consider staying anywhere else... More
