I periodically stay in the Bewdley/Kidderminster area on business, and although I had stayed at the superb Mug House Inn in Bewdley, I couldn't get in and just managed to get a room at the Pewterers House Guest House. This place is a gem! It's cheaper than the Mug House of course (it doesn't have a bar and restaurant) but is truly a B&B haven. The rooms are old and quaint but clean and well-decorated. And the choice of teas in the room and the little cover over the cup show that the owner is very meticulous and thoughtful. But the breakfast is just superb - you will not get better anywhere! It's only a short walk over the bridge for food and drink in the evening (go to the Mug House). And the lady who owns it is delightful too! Thoroughly recommend it! more
