I really enjoy Bed & Breakfast stays, and while Heritage House isn't a true B&B (they have full kitchen facilities in each suite instead of providing breakfast), it was a fantastically wonderful stay. When we arrived no one was there to greet us, even though we had called a half hour earlier and arrived at the exact time we said that we would. We stayed on the 3rd floor maids quarters which was a VERY lengthy hike up steep stairs. I didn't consider myself out of shape until I hit those. The apartment was adequate but not for the price. A bed & breakfast would be better marketing for this place. Great location to downtown Indiana and IUP. more

Everything was great. Nice neighborhood. Several blocks from down town. Liked the large living room and the coffee the best. The one bed was squeaky, might need tightened. Watch out for the very hot water. more

With three children with us, this place was wonderful. It was far better than a hotel. Although it was only one bedroom, there was a sofa bed & love seat which made plenty of room for us to sleep comfortably. Everything we needed was there,dishes,dish detergent,shampoo etc. All we had to do was get groceries. There should be more places... more

Heritage House is the best place to stay in Indiana! It is beautiful, clean, and in walking distance to town and campus (we didn't get in our car once). We were lucky to stay in the Sutton Suite which is very spacious, nicely decorated, and the home's original details (moldings, floors, doors, etc..) were beautiful.
