Had a room on the 1st floor, which had a sloped ceiling so watch out for the low ceilings when walking around. This only really affected the "cubby hole" in the corner where the desk was. Just got back from 2 nights at The Abbey Hotel. We stayed using their summer offer which was a family room for 2 nights with breakfast for £129. Contrary to the poster of 10 August 2009, we had wonderful stay. Dinner was splendid, bed was comfy, shower was fantastic. There were 2 weddings while we were there, we had no problem from either.
