We arrived late afternoon a received a warm welcome. The place looked nice. Unfortunately the room wasn't very clean, we found pubic hairs in the bed and more hairs in the sink. There was a stain on the bedroom carpet next to the bed as if someone had been sick and it hadn't been cleaned properly. We changed rooms and... more

We did not stay at the hotel but ate here whilst stopping near by. The food was very good and good value for money. The staff are friendly and service was prompt. Would recommend if you are in the area. more

Stayed for one night at The Old Bell Inn in an en-suite double. Room was spotless and nicely furnished. The cosy duvet was smashing! We ate in the Blue Room restaurant where the food was really very nice, and the service attentive but not overbearing. We didn't try the food in the lounge bar, but it looked tasty and plentiful.... more
