We wanted to spend the day at Thorpe Park and happened to hear from a friend that this was a nice hotel, we arrived early evening, the young lady on reception was very friendly and answered all our questions in a professional manner. The room was clean and spacious, if there was anything slightly wrong it would be the heat... more

Myself and my husband stayed in this hotel for a week in september for a week away from home. On the website of Brook hotels it looked lovely. It had everything we needed but not until we got there that we realised it was a nightmare! As soon as you walk in it looks bland and boring (where was this... more

Having stayed in many hotels I can honestly say that this is one of a very small list that I would happily go back to and recommend to all of my friends. We arrived to a warm welcome from a very friendly and accomodating young lady behind reception, who explained all about the hotel and booked us a table in... more

We stayed here fro a couple of days when attending a wedding in the area. The place is like a maze and if your room is miles away from reception (as mine was) then it was always with great satisfaction when I found the reception on the first attempt when walking from the room. The room wasn't cleaned, maybe it... more

We didn't stay at the hotel but had a family gathering of 17 of us to eat in the restaurant for Sunday lunch. Having read the previous reviews I was worried that we might have chosen the wrong venue but in fact we couldn't fault a thing. Catering for a large party and getting service well timed with all food... more

I didn't stay here, just went for lunch with a colleague. The bar area was unattended, smoke was coming in from the courtyard where smokers were gathered, the room smelt. The receptionist said someone would come to serve. Eventually she did. I asked what coffee they served, only normal she said, because the espresso maker had been broken for two... more

We chose this hotel because we were attending a 2 day event at the adjacent Wellington College and the hotel's website (and the member of staff who took my booking) said that guests had the right to use the pool and other leisure facilites at the college. However, on arrival we were told that this right no longer existed as... more

My colleagues and I stayed at the Waterloo while at Wellington College on business. The rooms were warm and comfy -- clean duvets and big towels. As an American who must have ice tea & coffee, the barkeep kindly filled my order every day -- and remembered I needed sweet-n-low. It was rainy -- and the front desk let me... more

Had been a little concerned about reviews, but this has become my location of choice for overnighters in the Bracknell area. The rooms have been clean and comfortable, staff helpful, the breakfast excellent and plentiful (although I agree about the radio) and evening meals in the restaurant varied and well cooked. The bar service seemed fine and not too expensive.... more

Stayed several times at this hotel all with the same feelings. The Hotel is average. The reception staff are very friendly and efficient and the rooms themselves are what you would expect to find from a hotel in this category. The Free WIFI access was the point that lifted this hotel above being a disappointment. However I have had issues... more
