We have just spent a long weekend at the Malvern and can't believe the difference. We've been coming here when it was called The Thornycroft under the previous owners and were always made welcome but Terry & Susan have transformed it. We stayed in room 3 which is a spacious room with en suite, however the shower/toilet is quite cramped. This is to be rectified soon which would make for an even more comfortable stay. We were shown the other rooms with 1 & 2 sharing a bathroom, room 4 a luxury room with a massive en suite, room 6 a spacious en suite with only room 7 to be updated v soon. All rooms have been redecorated to a high standard with new beds. The Malvern couldn't be better situated on a quiet street yet only a 5 min walk to the town centre, harbour & seafront. Breakfast is included in the price & is excellent it set us up for the day. All in all a v good guesthouse at a v. reasonable price & a warm welcome guaranteed from Terry ,Susan & family.
