Having just spent three nights at the Mon Fort I can only say how much we enjoyed our time there. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived - although we were a few hours early Lesley was unflustered and our room was ready. We had a lovely sea view, the room was spacious, clean and... more

We thought this was an hotel but found a downmarket bed and breakfast.Reception was friendly enough and the rooms adequate. However, breakfast was a sad disappointment. The toast was wet ! - very obviously frozen and inadequately thawed. Pressing on we then discovered that it tasted mouldy.! No excuse for this -it was a Saturday morning and the shops were... more

Thank you for your review. I do find your comments rather unfair. If your toast for some reason did not taste right, you should have informed us immediately and we would have resolved the matter straight away. We do find that even if we serve breakfast from 8 am to 9.30 am, no one want to be up early so...

Just returned from a two night/three day stay in brid at the Mon Fort. Bit jubious at first with some people's comments but this amounted to nothing. The hotel was just as advertised. Set right in the heart of brid, close to everything, lovely sea view rooms, lovely breakfasts and parking (albeit there is no car park but in the... more

A full English breakfast is sausage, bacon, fried egg, fried bread and tomatoe or beans Not just scrambled... more

Thank you for your review. We do attend to any items that are brought to our attention and we always ask guests if everything was satisfactory in their room at time of checking out. I'm sorry that we did not serve you fried bread - you could have simply asked for it. The breakfast is served at the bar carvery...

I had accidently booked the wrong dates for our break, but luckily the room we had booked was available, and the change of dates was accommodated with a smile. We stayed in room one which has a lovely sea view., and a very comfortable settee. As my husband is disabled we appreciated the easy staircase to the first floor and one... more
