Arrived late on Friday and departed early on Saturday so was looking only for a quiet night's sleep, which I got. Breakfast was acceptable, staff were efficient and overall the hotel represented excellent value for money - I paid about £50. Very convenient for the M6. more

This hotel is close to the motorway and has decent rooms. It also has good receptionists. The restaurant,however, is awful. I went in for dinner, but after 20 minutes waiting for my order to be taken I walked out. There seemed to be several staff, but all kept disappearing off. We were staying B&B while we were in the area for a wedding. The taxi didnt turn up so the reception staff rang round and they were able to get us a return taxi at short notice on a Saturday night.
