After having visited St. Michaels Mount on a wet and windy April afternoon we drove back to Kingsand absolutely famished, and were tempted by the signs on the B road advertising the Liscawn Inn. After traversing the long and sinuous drive down we arrived at a rather deserted looking hotel. It felt like the entrance to a mansion in a... More

I stayed here for two nights in the summer as it was in a good location. But the hotel and in particular my room were not very nice. I had to have an accessible room in the out building as I was travelling with a child, and the rooms in the main building are up a narrow staircase. This room... More

We went to see a friend’s son pass out of HMS Raleigh which is 7 miles away. Having travelled from Kent we were naturally quite tired so it was nice to have a friendly welcome AND open the bar early for the 8 of us!, which was well stocked and a good variety. The room was tastefully decorated and warm,... More

This location is set amongst acres of beautiful rolling hills in Cornwall. Quite stunning views on a really great day! We had booked in here for a couple of nights in July, following our daughters wedding at a nearby venue. The wedding had been such a beautiful day and glorious weather, so we were really looking forward to continuing on... More

My daughters wedding was a great success on 1st September 1012 at this venue. What a fantastic setting. Paul and Fiona did a fantastic job of making this day very special not only for my daughter and her husband, but for all the guests as well. The food was excellent and there was plently of it. All the guests that... More

Reviews of this place seem a bit mixed and I think I can see why. Like some other reviewers, we stayed there recently to attend a naval passing out parade at HMS Raleigh - for which the Liscawn is very well situated. However, our room seemed a bit shabby and could (in all honesty) have been a bit fresher, particularly... More

I stayed here for 2 days in August 2012 with family for my sons passing out at HMS Raleigh which is an approx ten minute drive. The setting was beautiful very peaceful and welcoming. The rooms were pleasant with a wall mounted TV and tea/coffee facilties in the room (bottles of water & fudge also) and the ensuite bathrooms were... More

We stayed at the Liscawn on saturday 4th August for a friends wedding The hotel is very well run and the view was fantastic.Paul and his wife were good hosts and looked after us.The rooms could do with modernising but overall a pleasant stay.
