Tregildry Hotel is a traditional family run Cornish hotel in a beautiful setting with views over St Anthony's - lovely tidal creek.
Good food with interesting menus. Some rooms have sea views and most are good value, but be careful not to book the one next to the restaurant. It can be noisy and sometimes food smells permeate, and entering into the restaurant from your room is a little strange! Also, this room is charged the same as superior rooms with sea view. The bathrooms have carpet - a mistake! The towel rail only works when the central heating is on. The nicest part is the abundance of comfortable public seating - big sofas and bookshelves filled with interesting books. Lovely walks and drives from the hotel. more
