this is just the hotel for that cornish way of living ,the scenery and location is splendid the hosts superb and the food how it should be PERFECT. you are close enough to plymouth for city shopping and far enough away for the country life and beaches a short distance away,so i would reccommend anyone to come and stay here... more

The entire experience of our stay at this 'hotel' was rather unpleasant. Upon arrival we were shown to the 'family suite' as were sharing with a friend and baby. We recently spent three lovely days staying at the Friary Manor Hotel. We were greeted warmly by both the owner and Wilbur the hotel cat. The hotel situation is superb, it is set in lovely grounds and is very peaceful. Breakfasts were excellent served with abundant local produce. Although we had visited Cornwall many times in the past we had never been to this corner - the Rame Peninsular. What a find!
