We visited Polmena House in June 2012. Charlayne is a charming and welcoming hostess. Our room was large and very comfortable, with beautiful views over the valley. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Lostwitheil is a lovely town and a great base for day trips to Tintagel and Padstow or the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Fowey.

We recently visited Polmena House we had booked both rooms as there were four in our party and the accommodation was very good, we also made use of the guest lounge in an evening to watch the news and have a nightcap !! We stayed for two nights and Charlayne was very helpful throughout. The room and breakfast were extremely nice and they were very flexible despite our awkward arrival time and breakfast requirements!

Whatever your question, Charlayne will endevour to answer it, find maps, organise a restaurant booking, download train times, all done. Very comfortable, a lot of thought for staying guests.

Picked at random off the internet, we had a wonderfull time with a warm and friendly reception. This is a small B&B but the rooms are generous with full size en-suite bathrooms. Polmena is build on a steep Cornish slope and so inevitably the steps and paths are not suitable for people with restricted mobility. A wheelchair would be impossible.... More
