We only stayed one night in this hotel as we had travelled down to see Oasis at the Eden project and needed to break our journey. Our rooms were adequate, with the bathrooms being clean but dated. We were a bit concerned when we read some of the previous reviews about the hotel and the golf course but we need not have worried as our two night golf break was fine - unlike the weather! My wife and I stayed overnight having attended a wedding reception at the hotel. Our room was situated in one of the buildings to the side of the clubhouse and it was clean and well appointed. We would recommend the establishment for a quiet and relaxing stay especially as it is close to the Eden Project. more

Read 4 reviews from Aug 2007 before we went and had some worries, but must say we could not agree with any of the complaints. Nice room, very comfortable, no disturbance even though a wedding reception was taking place. Staff very friendly and helpfull, a couple of problems raised were resolved immediately. Food was exceptional both in resturant and bar. Good swimming pool and exercise room. A @ DM Scotland more
