We should have been warned by the cream tea to welcome us, but we fell into Margaret's clutches and were thoroughly spoilt for the 6 nights we stayed at Eden. She really is the most fantastic hostess.

Eden B&B is in a house on top of the cliff overlooking the village of Port Mellon, just outside Mevagissey. The setting is wonderful with wide ranging views over the bay. The room was bright and cheerful, and equipped with all we needed - more than adequate storage for our 2 (overloaded) suitcases, 2 rucksacks, 1 flight bag, and bits we picked up during the time we were there. The bed was huge and comfy, the shower room pristine, and the sea-view from the window beautiful. Our room was as clean as it could get, and was kept that way during our stay.

Margaret knows her Cornwall and was full of advice about the weather, the best times to go to various attractions, good walks - it was simply a great example of how a good B&B should be run. I am just glad... more
