We stayed at Penarth for 2 days and found the whole experience a delight. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Mike cooked a lovely breakfast and made us feel very welcome. We have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending this B&B. We had a nice meal at the Polgooth Inn in Recketts... More

We spent 2 nights in the B&B with the Eden Package. The House was recently refurnished and is very nice and clean. The twin bedroom is well furnished and the bathroom is incredibly spacious. Mike, the owner, is willing and kind. The weather during the days we spent was incredibly raining and Mike piked us from station at our arrival,... More

We stayed on the Eden Project package which was excellent value for money. Unlike another reviewer our voucher for the Britannia Inn was for £20 so was a good contribution to the bill and we found the food to be very good. Very convenient position for Eden and we would recommend a visit to Charlestown for an interesting museum and... More

We spent 2 nights in the guest house which was perfectly clean and Mike the owner was very welcoming. Room was small but had everything you need in it and the breakfast was great. We would visit again and would recommend to others.

We have recently returned from a weekend break in St Austell. We stayed at the Penarth Guest House which had everything we needed. We were a four person party and so had 2 of the 3 rooms which the B&B has available. All rooms are ensuite, very clean and very comfortable. Despite being on quite a main road, there was... More

We stayed two nights on the Eden Project package. The guesthouse is very clean and well kept and Mike the owner, a local chap, was friendly and welcoming. It is extremely close to the Eden Project so a good choice to stay if visiting there as you can walk there and back. The breakfasts were very good, too and the... More

Stayed here twice now, first in 2010 and last July 2012. Both times cannot fault it at all! Mike is a wonderful host, knows Cornwall like the back of his hand and cooks the best breakfasts i have had in a long while. Always looking for fresh produce and when we really hoped for duck eggs the first morning he... More

Stayed here for three nights while visiting family, nice and clean accommodation and a good breakfast to set you up for the day. Mike is a friendly host and makes sure that you have all you need and advice on places to go and what to do. Will be returning soon.

Room is pretty small. Although you can tell beddin has been washed, stains can be found. Other than that the room was overall clean. Curtains a bit worn and was quite light in the morning. Breakfast was lovely. The owner himself does everything like cooking and cleaning, so you can understand he is trying but not perfect :s
