We stayed for 3 weekend nights in October after saving the tokens from The Sun newspaper. We were allocated a 2-bedroom, Standard caravan as part of the Sun Offer & we were offered the chance to upgrade to superior, superior plus, superior gold etc on quite a few occasions but we decided to see what awaited us via the standard... more

We stayed in a chalet because we had a dog and could not upgrade, the wet during the night dripped down the walls and it smelt very Faust. This made the linen we hired very damp and also made our clothes smell. The entertainment was poor apart from one band, The beach which was close by was very difficult to get... more

Dont get me wrong a could write a sniffy review of some aspects of our stay here but most of the things I would be sniffy about would be aspects of staying in this sort of camp that I would expect. My point being you should really know what to expect at these places and adjust your expectations accordingly or... more

We came to the site because we applied for an Express Newspaper holiday so we were just expecting a bog Standard caravan and nothing special for the £40 we paid. Upon arrival we were given our welcome pack and we went straight to our caravan, right near the central complex and a Prestige caravan, it was an extra bit of... more

We paid the premium for a 'Prestige Caravan'; arrived to a shabby caravan, which WE HAD TO SCRUB as not been cleaned for a month. Shower had not been cleaned. Wallpaper ripped off the walls in bedrooms, carpets stained. Disgusting. BBQ was smashed underneath caravan ---- 'Prestige fixtures and fittings!'. You have to also pay for most actitivities - and... more

The main reason for choosing Haven was the facilities that where advertised and the focus on a family site. I list below some of the examples below which some were given to me from my 8 year old son: Toilets 1) Bottom of the doors in yellow block disintegrated and very rough paint work 2) Someone had punched in the... more

We visited Perran Sands on the second week of the summer holidays. The site is very large although nicely laid out and the caravans are well spaced out giving you extra room which is nice not to be on top of one another. Our Superior Plus caravan was clean and provided all the essentials that we required for our stay.... more

We travelled to Perran Sands for the first week in August. There were 6 of us, 2 adults and children aged 14, 13, 12 & 4. We booked only 2 days prior to the holiday and received a good discount on the brochure price, paying £339, a saving of £250, for a week in a "Super Tent". It was the... more

Due to health reasons, we aren't able to travel abroad at the moment and so we decided to have two weeks in Cornwall, as our summer holiday. It's nearly thirty years since either of us had a holiday in this part of the world and we were really looking forward to going. We chose Perran Sands as this is central... more

We stayed at Perran Sands for a long weekend on a sun holiday. We knew the caravan site as we have been regular visitors to cornwall. Check in - organised but too regimented. the site stick to a 4pm checkin unless you pay more for an earlier one. I think its there way of getting you to spend money in... more
