my wife and i stayed at the pippins b&b for 2 nights in april when attending a wedding at the carlyon bay hotel . We booked this b&b mainly for its close proximity to the hotel. St austell is 5 minutes by car, and a bus service is available nearby. The position is tranqil, situated on a tree-lined road leading directly down to the sea. there are great for walks, particularly along the cliff side heading towards charlestown.a fulsome continental breakfast was delivered by the charming owner, Doug, each morning. There is a part of the garden set aside for guests, unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to make the most of it. also situated within the annexe area in which we were staying, there is the added bonus of free use of a sauna, which we did manage to use, briefly.we would definately return to 'the pippins',probably as part of a tour of this beautiful area. more
