The Waterwheel Inn is a family run B&B with a great restaurant and something interesting at the bottom of the garden. My daughter and I stayed there when we visited the Eden Project and were very happy we did. The room was comfortable and clean with tea and coffee making facilities, TV and toiletries in the bathroom. Francesca and Mark... More

This is a family run restaurant and bed and breakfast. The menu was extensive with specials on each day. The evening meals were freshly cooked and superb. The breakfast is also hearty and a full English. The room was clean, bright and comfortable (room 8). There were 4 of us (two couples) and we stayed for three nights. The hotel... More

My Wife and I stayed at the Waterwheel with two friends for their Anniversary. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Although primary a restaurant the B&B was very comfortable with a superb breakfast. The food in the Restaurant was very good, with good portions at a reasonable price, so much so we ate there every night, so plenty... More

We stayed here for one night and had a great stay. The Waterwheel Inn is located in a lush valley next to a stream. I recommend walking down along the stream to the well, it's a lovely little spot. Our room was clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was delicious with perhaps the best mushrooms I ever had.

Found this b&b on the internet and was not disapointed at all. The rooms although not large are very comfortable and clean we were in room 4 which looks out over the garden .Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room plus they provide shampoo/shower gel in the ensuite .The hosts Mark and Francesca are really welcoming and make... We missed the place with the GPS directing us to another property about 2 properties before Waterwheel . The signboard is not eye catching enough from the very narrow stretch of road. ....can easily missed it. We had a family room and is very clean BUT the toilet is noisy sounds like water refilling each time we uses it or... More

Spent 5 nights at this quirky little location. A great find, with hosts who could not do enough to accommodate their guests, not being too familiar with Cornwall their local knowledge and recommendations proved invaluable. Freshly cooked breakfast each morning, wide range of meals on offer in the evening, which seemed popular with local residents as well as guests. Room... More

A great location for touring the area, including the Eden Project. The rooms aren't huge but they're clean and cozy. Unfortunately I was feeling "under the weather" and couldn't enjoy the meals as much as I would have liked but the other 3 seemed pretty happy with the range and quality of starters, mains and desserts. what I had was... Mark & Francesca were excellent hosts; welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was good and the rooms comfortable. Good value for money and a perfect getaway. The location is on a quiet road just out of town (a short walk away) and handy for the Eden Project and points west of St Austell.
