We booked our 1 night stay through the lodge's (this is not a hotel!!) web site's. we gave our credit card details as you do when making a reservation. When we checked out we wanted to make the payment however we were told that they have already taken the money for this the day after we booked!!!, we find this unacceptable, trough out the world it is customary to make your payment on the day you leave not before you even stay!!, What if you wanted to cancel????

The breakfast was very good, but is only to be taken from 8:30 to 9:30am. I recommend the Cornish breakfast, i had the salmon with scrambled eggs but wasn't as good as the former. more
