An absolutely brilliant place to stay. Jo was so friendly when we arrived. She showed us to our room and answered all our queries about Eden Project ,places to eat and places to visit. The room was out of this world. Clean, comfortable and loads of goodies to make your stay memorable. The breakfast on both mornings was superb, with so... More

What an amazing place to stay. Jo and Rob made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Every little detail was catered for, they really thought of everything. A friendly couple who were eager to advise us about places nearby to visit and to help out in any way they could. When writing a review like this, we like... More

We've just returned from a weeks stay at Woodpeckers. First class from the minute we arrived. Jo the owner was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the Lodge which is totally separate from the B & B accommodation. It was just fantastic and definately had the "WOW " factor. We didnt want for anything, everything imaginable was supplied. Tea,... More

Quite outstanding! We chose Woodpeckers because it was within easy walking distance of the Eden Project. On our arrival we were greeted by Jo who could not have been more helpful. Our room was beautiful with a huge bed, easy chair and enough snacks and drinks to keep us going for a week! In the adjoining shower and dressing room... More

My partner and I only stayed for one night in September, we had driven from Barnstaple as she had just completed a charity bike ride from Bath to Barnstaple. Woodpeckers is tucked away down a narrow road but easy to find. I had booked the Lodge Suite as a suprise, well, what a suprise. The accomadation was absolutely superb, exactly as described... More

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend, during which we visited the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligon. The B&B itself is tiny, with just 2 guest rooms, and about 10-15 minute walk from the Eden Project. The bedrooms are huge and very comfortable, and the proprietor (Jo) does a lot more than most places.... More
