Was surprised with the previous review, I agree that it is not very welcoming, you walk straight into the pub and walk through a small door that leads you up stairs to the rooms. We had reservations here trough a travel agent and ended up NOT staying there.
 Parking the car is a disaster. Public parking nearby, but it felt unsafe to leave the car overnight.

The decor was a little past it but our room was clean and tidy with a good size en suite. This really helps the en suite experience, in our opinion. We had a dirty room in the garden my wife and me only had seprate beds, holes in the bathroom, showe hardly worked, not very friendly during breakfast. Dangerous bed for the kids no protection upper bed... bad price-quality.... more
