We stayed here for 11 days just after Easter 2013 in Laila's Cottage. It was a really wonderful holiday all round and we will definitely be back later this year! Laila's is a lovely cottage, perfect for a family of 4 (we have 2 kids aged 6 and 8). The cottage is spacious, clean and well-furnished with everything you might... More

Spent 9 nights here with the family and had a great time. Ian who runs the place is very friendly, super attentive and gave us a few tips on where to take kids, eat, etc... We initially stayed at Beach Belles and then given all the rain/dampness and a slight pest problem as a result of this Ian offered Laila’s... More

Thank you for your review and for staying with us, Just to answer the few problems you had with your accommodation. As you guys realised we had really bad weather during your stay with us, in fact it had been raining for a couple of weeks. Due to that fact and as the property is beach front certain things are... My wife and I stayed for a week in September 2012 and it was exactly what we needed after a pretty rough year. It was instant relaxation from the moment we arrived. We stayed in Tamarama which, like all the cottages, has incredible ocean views and overlooks a beautifully maintained front lawn area. The beach is pristine and is about... More

Views magnificent, sounds magnificent, location magnificent, not 5 star but what the heck. It's a picture perfect location which left me asking Ian (the owner/manager), when could I come back. We stayed in Lifesaver, which would be more than suitable for 2 couples. It's an east walk to Byron but why would you go there? Most of the time we... More

We've stayed at Bluewater on the Beach for two years in a row and would not go anywhere else. The hospitality is truly Byron Bay - informal, friendly and helpful. The biggest problem is that it's hard to go anywhere once you're there as it's easy just to stay right there, cook in and look out at the view. It's... More

We spent a week here in January and whilst it was pricy, it was money well spent. I fell in love with Belongil beach which it overlooks. Watching the sunset from our cabin on the sunlounge with a glass of bubbly while the kids play meters away in the sand was so wonderful. Watching all the doggies on the dog-friendly... More

What an amazing secret, quiet corner of Byron. Walking through our patio and tropical garden to our own private dune-top - out of the wind, out of view - sunning in the nuddy while overlooking beautiful Belongil beach just steps below, via our own little pathway. Just cover up when you stand up. : - ) Accommodation delightfully and creatively... More

My wife and I spent a month touring Australia in May, and our four days at Bluewater on the beach was one of the high points of our trip. The accommodations were pleasant and comfortable, the service was great and we found Ian, the genial manager, very helpful both in attending to our needs and providing tips about the Byron... More

Once of the best holidays we have had in many years.Great location, can't beat the view, close enough to Byron to feel part of the action but far enough to enjoy peace and serenity. Ian was fantastic helpful in all regards. So helpful he even found a wet suit for our son to go surfing. The beach itself is tremendous, great... More

Disappointing to turn up to a property that states 'standard featues' include a 'spa bath/jacuzzi', however not only did our cottage not have this facility, apparently none of the others do either. When paying this type of money I expect to receive the 'standard features' as advertised on the website. Property in a great location but the property itself is... More

Thank you for bringing to our attention these issues, we have reviewed our website. Just to clear up any confusion you might have had with the features page, each villa has its own page with a detailed description. Not all the villas have spa baths and the special features page on the site lists all the inclusions you will find... More
