We spent two days here with our caravan. The site is very big and good space between each van. The amenities are clean with good shower pressures, but if I have to say a negative is the loo paper is oh so thin!!! The area around Cobar and the town have some good places to visit.

Standard ensuite cabin was very clean, airy and bright. Very comfortable and had every thing that we needed. Most helpful staff member assisted with wifi.Green, pleasant and well maintained surroundings. Ideal as a half day base to do Cobar Heritage Walk, visit New Cobar Open Cut mine and go for an hour run around the town.

Stayed in this park for work over 5 nights with 2 other gents in a cabin. In accommodation starved Cobar, The Caravan Park is a step above the tired old hotels and motels in town. The cabins are pretty standard, although they're planning on adding some new (larger) ones soon. The park could do with a few more BBQs, and... More

Dear Paul, All your comments taken on board. We are hopeful of securing new cabin accommodation in the future as business such as yours is very critical to ourselves and the town. The cabin design must suit the needs of the tapestry of travellers that come through Cobar so your feedback is very insightful and helpful in terms of design... More

Had my 4th overnight stay at this lovely caravan park in February 2013. Such a lovely, clean and quiet caravan park and always a welcome stop. The locals are very friendly too and the local swimming pool nearby is wonderful. When travelling from home to the East coast of NSW and Queensland this is one place I always stop over... More

We stayed in a cabin and it was very good. But only a few cabins available so get in early or you will miss out. The park is well laid out for caravans, camper trailers and cars. RV friendly too. Not any other options nearby so not surprisingly the park filled quickly around 6 pm. Safe and secure and not... More

Trip Advisor is such a valuable and reliable tool for both owners and travellers and we thank you for your comments. It is a quiet park - which does surprise folk. The space and trees do help and we have planted over 500 shrubs around the boundaries to grow into further enhancements to privacy and noise reduction. See you next... More

Although it is on the highway this caravan park was very quiet & peaceful. We had been travelling across the Nullabor from Albany WA & this park was a shady oasis. The grounds are very well kept, the amenities are good & the Apostle birds are friendly. The staff were very helpful & welcoming. I would stay there again if... More

Dear Doug Nice of you to take the time to comment on our park. We are grateful for your feedback and kind words. Amenities were clean, and the sites were grassed but the cost of staying was too much. I think $35.00 per night for two people is too expensive. They don't have a pool or a playground or a jumping pillow. I would expect to find these facilities in a park that charged this much. If it was cheaper we would have... More

You have raised a valid point and we took it onboard and looked at being able to provide different pricing options. For this reason for our sites, we are now offering a twin share rate of $32 for second and subsequent nightstays, a "no frills" unpowered caravan site for $27 and for those with swags, a $10 per person/per night...
