having driven for several hours back from melbourne, a warm welcome awaited us at the Tuckerbox Inn Gundagai. The hosts were fantastic and had thought of everything, a jug of fresh milk in the fridge, sport on tv, loads of space. A great stopover en route to sydney. more

what a revelation....clean....brightly decorated....large television...small dinette area...enormous room....wonderful bed and a outdoor area with table and chairs... have stayed in numerous motor inns where the decor seems to be aka 1976..for $80...the standard here is excellent... what a refreshing change... and not a plain brick wall in sight.... right next to caltex petrol station and burger king...very handy..after along drive... more

We stayed here on our way between Sydney and Benalla. Everything was great, from the time our booking was taken by phone. My mother has mobility issues, and one of the reasons we chose the Tuckerbox was its Disabled rooms. It was FANTASTIC - very spacious, so lots of room around the bed, and the bathroom was fitted with rails... more
