We're staying in a deluxe cabin & it ticks all the boxes. It's right on Lake Ainsworth which is fantastic for swimming, Stand Up Paddleboarding, canoeing...It's also fantastic for your skin & hair due to the tannins in the water.
The Park is also right near the surf club so we went in the lake as soon as we finished...

The tea-tree scented waters of Lake Ainsworth have long thought to have had recuperative powers. The same can be said for the Lake Ainsworth Holiday Park where a visit will invariably leave you feeling revived, relaxed and rejuvenated. Only a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Ballina and Byron Bay, the park is within easy walking distance of the relaxed village atmosphere of Lennox Head with its Al fresco dining and boutique specialty shops. On your doorstep is the mighty Seven Mile Beach, renowned by surfers across the world for its challenging right-hand point break and a popular spot for fishing. The calm waters of the lake are ideal for you to bring a kayak, wind-surfer or stand up paddleboard. It doesn’t matter if you’re taking a dip or making use of one of the many picturesque BBQ settings in the area, Lake Ainsworth will still have a chance to work its magic. The Lake Ainsworth Holiday Park is large and spacious, ideal for groups traveling together.
