I stayed at the Horizon apartments in August 2009 (and also in January 2008). I had an excellent stay both times. The apartments are newly renovated, have full self contained kitchens (including dishwashers), comfortable beds, reverse cycle air-conditioning and heating. Many of the units have views to the sea and Montague Island. The apartments are well located - it’s only a short walk to the beach and very close to the supermarket and other shops. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even posted some things back to me that I accidentally left there. The only small negatives for me were that the second bedroom in the two bedroom apartment I stayed in had no windows and the apartment could have been a little cleaner. Look out for the excellent weekly rates in winter. more
