We arrived at the Whale Moter Inn around 6.30pm after a long days drive from Sydney. We hadn't pre booked and were advised that they only had one room left which was a suite at $155 per night. To be fair I only booked 6 weeks before staying but we got the last room available and it was called a executive suite. It was still $190 per night. I was not told it did not have a view except trees, it did not have a bath/spa and I'm not sure how it can be 4 star. It was... more

Not only a great location with glorious views over the Wagonga Inlet and towards the sea, but also large and well furnished rooms and an excellent breakfast. Everyroom has a view. Narooma itself, is a lovely spot and well worth the stop for a few days. We saw manta rays, enormous urchins, bellbirds and more.
