We have stayed at the Eiger many times, - it is a bit old fashioned and not luxurious, but has all that is required for a good ski holiday base. The rooms need updating and TV reception is woefull, but with comfortable beds and really really good food, we keep going back. There is a short ski or walk to the lifts - it's probably the closest lodge to the lifts. The front bar area is nice and cozy, but not flashy. There is a spa pool & games room, neither great, but ok. The Eiger has changed hands & was ok in '08 on last visit; we hope the standards remain high. more
